Described by Transport Canada as a “non-propulsion vessel”, these were designed and built under license to marine standards within Gordon Yacht Harbour Marina. The Marina, as the 2nd oldest in Ontario, has a history of boat building since 1886 including manufacturing lifeboats for the Canadian Navy. These units are moored within adjoining slips at the Marina.
With 550 sq ft (51 sq m) of space floating on the water each unit sleeps 5 people, have up and down washrooms, satellite TV, fireplace, full kitchen and a patio and swim platform at the stern for access to watercraft and fishing. A personal BBQ and picnic table is provided on land at the boat entrance. There are four units available on jelly bean row; red, grey, blue and yellow.
